I’ve managed to land my dream career on Wall Street. Only to later quit my job, build my own financial education business, and of course,TRAVEL THE WORLD! I have been blessed to travel to 30 countries by 30!
A Few Fun Facts
Unlike, normal kids who sucked their thumbs while younger, I sucked both my middle and ring fingers. Weird, I know! As a result, I had a huge gap that miraculously closed…without me getting braces!
I have played basketball, softball, soccer, and tennis. I have also done swimming, gymnastics, and I ran track. Of every sport I played, tennis has been my favorite since age 8. I was nationally ranked as one of the Top 3 in Tennis within the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware when I was 11 years old.
I am scared to each Slim Jim’s cauliflower, and stuffing. Don’t ask, but I’m scared to try it!
I walked from Times Square (42nd Street and 8th Avenue) to 129th and Lenox Street in Harlem. I can walk anywhere, however I wouldn’t dare go that long on a treadmill!
I’m a Philly-bred, but I wander from Coast to Coast
Ever since I began my career on Wall Street, I got exposed to a life filled with excitement and exploration. I took my first 10-day trip to Barcelona and Paris for my 24th Birthday, and I haven’t looked back since. Ioften work a lot, so one of the ways that helps me keep my mental sanity is by traveling THE WORLD!Traveling allows me to be free, and it truly helps me grow. Every major goal that I accomplish, I hop on a plane to reward myself. Why wait until you retire to travel? I reached 30 countries by 30, and I’m not stopping any time soon!
What Is #FoxTrots30?
On January 13, 2019 life shifted for me. Not only did I turn 30 years old, but my entire life changed for the better. In late 2018, I sat back and said to myself, “what do you want to do for your 30th birthday?” I didn’t want to have a party, however I did want to share my birthday with the people I love! I wanted to do something I had never done, so one day it hit me! I decided to travel the world for 30 days! Although it may sound crazy, for me it doesn’t. I’ve finally built a business that allows me to work from anywhere, so that’s exactly what I did. For 30 days, I traveled to Curacao, Argentina, Chile, and Peru. It was then that #FoxTrots30 was created.
While it is catchy, #FotTrots30 has a few meanings:
1)Fox (me) Trots (travels) 30 (for 30 days)
2)Fox (me) Trots (travels) 30 (to thirty countries before she hits 30 years old)
3)Finally, Fox (me) Trots (gracefully proceeds) 30 (through her 30s).
29 for me was one of the most painful yet amazing years of my life. So much mental and spiritual growth took place, and for once I got clarity on who I was and why I did the things I did. I got rid of a lot of internal issues that clouded my heart and mind, and I began to blossom into something much greater. 30 was monumental for me. For Ashley Marie Fox, it is The Year of Blossoming. I am redefining who I am and who I WANT TO BE? For so long we subconsciously live a life that society, our families, and our past define for us. While I got to the root of a lot at age 29, I am now blossoming at 30. I am no longer reacting to what’s happening to me in life, but instead creating my life!
Join me on my journey through 30 as I blossom, create, and explore the world!
